What an awesome award! Basically, I presented them an hour-long show, and then gave the kids tricks that they could perform. Even the siblings and parents were getting into it! Some of the tricks I taught, they even surprise themselves. In the end, the whole crowd was performing magic for each other! Each of the scouts had a little homemade "magic kit" they could take home. I even gave them resources where they could learn further magic.

Scouting taught me a lot of things, and gave me confidence in myself and leadership skills. I progressed from Tiger Scouts all the way up to Eagle Scouts and beyond. I was a member of the Order of the Arrow, went to the National Jamboree twice (1981 and 1985), and even hiked the trail at Philmont. Scouting allowed me to see parts of the word I never imagined.

Introducing Scouts to magic is introducing a great and valuable skillset. It's not just tricking each other! It's learning skills like public speaking, memorization, physical dexterity. It's a cool skill to use with those nimble kids' fingers that is not video games. And it's a great hobby that can turn into a job later in life.

I have performed multiple Blue & Gold banquets and kids' instructional magic parties. Please consider me when you need to entertain Scouts, or need your Scouts to learn magic, or maybe a little bit of both!
